Web10 Oct 2024 · Hi. I'm mainly dropping weight to help with MPGs. I read that dropping 100 lb helps fuel mileage by 1 to 2% and if it's closer to 2% at 50 MPGs that's 1 extra "free" MPG. As far as where to remove weight ideally I would be able to remove more weight off the front of the car but that's really hard to do.
