Webb1 okt. 1999 · In a prospective study all positive phlebographies within the well‐defined population of the city of MalmÖ, Sweden, during 1987 were studied in order to determine the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT), and risk factors were found to be in accordance with earlier studies. The incidence of VTE was significantly greater in the non-edoxaban group (31.3 % versus 7.1 %; P = 0.02).The incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) was also significantly greater in the non-edoxaban group (28.1 % versus 3.6 %; P = 0.01).A single patient from the edoxaban group experienced major bleeding.
